A timid typesetter becomes an unlikely hero when he spends a night in a supposedly haunted mansion to prove his courage. Amid creaking stairs, eerie organ music and ghostly apparitions, he uncovers clues to an unsolved murder. His escapade turns him into a small-town sensation—and perhaps a real detective after all.
